It’s real nice to see that Nordicware has come out with a pirate ship pan now that we’re through the pirate phase. I vaguely remember an attempt to make one that ended up in the trash with rage. Instead he got an island cake with Lego pirates The palm trees turned out pretty cute anyway. I don’t need a single pan or gadget anyway until I clean out my cupboards though – I need to stop looking it’s like an illness.
Now that I’m through the panic, I’m starting to get really excited about my cheesecakes for next week. It’s a cheap thrill to make whatever flavors and variety I want, with a peanut butter included for my favorite Relay-mate Tim of course! (maybe if I ply them with enough treats they’ll adopt me) I’ve settled on a carrot cake thrown in for the 2 o’clock sale and vanilla bean cupcakes for the 7 o’clock. I’m going to try and not horde them like on my birthday, at least half of them will get sold.
I think I should easily be able to bring in $300 onsite! Now that that’s covered I need to start begging and pleading with those who haven’t given me a real answer (ahem family) to get the afternoon and evening covered. I just found out we’re making a big ”hope” photo on the field in the afternoon – I think the committee’s made my year. What can I say, the cheerleader in me gets all excited at the thought of spelling things with humans.
