Yippee! I figured the 1 millionth pregnancy rumor was probably true when Victor Garber spilled the beans again, but I’m excited to see proof after his “denial”. I think they must just ask him to do it so they don’t actually have to come out with an announcement.

The new Garner-Affleck production has some big shoes to fill after The Cutest Kid and those dimples.  But I’m sure the genes are up to the challenge.

I can barely hold my eyes open! We had a meeting and lunch and I’ve been running around since 10:30 this morning – delivering crap, getting things set up, slicing cake, cleaning up- all to have to order even more pizzas since some people don’t understand not taking enough to equal seconds, er, fourths before everyone has their food.

The heat out there is unbearable and makes me so tired. I don’t think I could work without air conditioning unless I was constantly moving or had a fan blowing. I am spoiled indeed. People always give me weird looks if I go out there in a sweater but it’s usually always freezing where I’m at 90% of the time. It’s hard work out there, I need to remember that when I’m griping.

I’m so excited! Only another week until The Sisterhood 2 arrives!

2005

2005

What a difference a few years makes – so grown up looking!  One thing remains the same… Amber Tamblyn still looking weird. Maybe she’s been cast on Swingtown.

2008 NY Premiere

I’m really loving Blake’s dress, I don’t know that I’ve every willingly worn orange but maybe I could pull it off?

Awesome:  Judith Light at the premiere.

Not Awesome: Ali & Dina Lohan.

They don’t deserve to stand on the same carpet as Ed Westwick.

“Go and repair My House which, as you can see, is falling into ruin.”
MISSION OF PENITENTS

I gave into the peer pressure. Like I needed an email waived in my face there was donuts in the coffee room. I haven’t eaten one all year. I’ve withstood the temptation at work and on many trips to Krispy Kreme. It wasn’t even that great. Hot and fresh off the conveyer belt, maybe? But dried, flaky glaze – meh.

I probably need to walk 450 football field lengths to get rid of that mess.

I found myself struggling to cheer up my sister of her boyfriend/breakup troubles. I feel bad that I couldn’t just say ‘he’s an ass, let’s eat ice cream’. In between bemoaning and running to listen to his voicemails and complaining he was leaving another one – we got to the root of the issue. Or I did.

As she suspected, his heart wasn’t quite into the relationship and hadn’t been for a few months. She felt he lied to her by going along ho-hum and not telling her until it was over. I tried to reassure her in the asshat ways of boys, getting scared off when things get a little serious or being afraid to break things off themselves. She insisted things weren’t too serious, they were just good friends. I was puzzled at what she was trying to say. Oh, duh! Why didn’t I see it first off – it’s a hormones thing.

If the guy’s hanging out with a known skank post-breakup, he probably wants to get some action. Some action he hasn’t been getting. Now in big sister terms, that’s a good thing. But I’m realistic, at 18 guys don’t think a lot of where their heart is as their neither regions. She really needs to be with someone who completely shares the same values, and can find other ways to keep the relationship interesting. Most of the delinquents she is usually mooning over are not a-okay with only a good night kiss from here to who knows when.

After giving it some thought, I feel cruddy. I should’ve been more on her side, even when I see things differently. We’re just different and I need to remember that and respect her for it. I should be slayer kicking them to the curb for her.

I should ask her to come over or go to a movie or something but I don’t really know how to act teenager in a way that would not seem weird to a teenager. I like to drown my sorrows in a margarita, but I guess watching the Princess Diaries works too.
